The Journey is Part of the Worship
In the rapid development of modern Saudi Arabia, it is easy to view transport merely as logistics. But for the pilgrim, every step towards the Haram is a step of reward. "The dust of Madinah is a cure," and the journey between the Holy Cities is a time for reflection (Tafakkur).
1. The Haramain Train: A Blessing of Time
The high-speed train is a modern marvel, cutting travel time significantly. Use these quiet moments not just to relax, but to engage in Dhikr and mental preparation before entering the state of Ihram or arriving in the City of the Prophet (SAW).
2. Patience (Sabr) on the Roads
Traffic in Makkah is inevitable. Instead of frustration, view waiting as a test of Sabr. The Prophet (SAW) taught us that patience at the first stroke of calamity is true patience. Use traffic jams to make Salawat or listen to the Quran.
3. Choosing Comfort for Focus
We recommend private transport not for vanity, but for focus. A private car allows you to maintain your Wudu, pray on time without rushing, and keep your heart connected to your purpose without the distractions of a crowded bus terminal.
4. Adab of the Journey
Remember, you are a guest of Allah (Duyauf ur Rahman). Treat your driver, fellow travelers, and the land itself with the utmost respect (Adab). A smile or a kind word during your journey carries the weight of charity.
May Allah accept your journey and make every mile a witness for you on the Day of Judgment.
